He is an Affiliate Professor at HEC Management School - University of Liège. He teaches the company law course to first and second bachelor students as well as the civil and company law course within the frame of the Master in Management Sciences (Executive Education). Attorney-at-law, member of the Liège Bar since 1993, he mainly practices commercial and company law. Moreover he is also registered on the list of bankruptcy curators at the Commercial Court of Liège. His large background, as an attorney and as a curator, enables him to provide his classes and lectures with some high practical intensity, beyond the theoretical aspect of the studied matters. He holds a Master in Law from the University of Liège and a Specialized Master in economic law from the « Université Libre de Bruxelles ».

Olivier Lisein, PhD in Management Sciences, is Associate Professor at HEC Liège - Management School of the University of Liège (where he teaches several courses in Change Management, Management of Innovation Projects, and Management of Organizations, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels), Academic Head of the Master in “Intrapreneurship and Management of Innovation Projects” (HEC - ULiège) and of the Certificate in "Project and Change Management" (HEC Liège Executive School), and Senior Research Associate at LENTIC, a multidisciplinary research and action-research laboratory of HEC Liège focused on innovation dynamics and change processes.     Frank Lamberchts

    Frank Lambrechts is an Associate Professor of Organizational Learning and Change and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Economics at Hasselt University (Belgium). He holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences (Organizational Psychology) from Tilburg University (the Netherlands) and a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Hasselt University and Jyväskylä University (Finland). At the Research Center for Entrepreneurship & Family Firms (RCEF), his research focuses on collaboration dynamics, systemic learning, and strength-based change in a diversity of organizing contexts. He has facilitated change and learning processes in various organizations, MBA and executive postgraduate programs. His work has been published in Academy of Management Learning and Education, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Family Business Review, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Journal of Family Business Strategy, Journal of Management Inquiry, among others.     Piet Pauwels (1970) holds a Master's Degree in Marketing from the Vlerick Business School and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Hasselt University. Today, Prof. Pauwels is the dean of the faculty of Business Economics at Hasselt University. He is full professor of marketing teaching international and industrial marketing in the BA and MSc programmes. He has been involved in research programmes related to organizational market learning in the context of export marketing, new product development, and global purchasing.     Jürgen Vogt is Professor at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences. He hold a degree both in law and business studies as well as a Doctor of Laws from the University of Mannheim and is qualified as a German lawyer and certified tax advisor. He has 18 years post-qualification experience and worked for several national and international renowned multinational companies, mostly from the financial industry both in Germany and abroad (more than 7 years in London and Singapore). He now teaches at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences and lectures in Corporate Finance, Tax Law, International Taxation, Taxation of Financing and Investments, Taxation of companies.     Marie Lambert is Professor at HEC Liège, Management school of the University of Liège. She holds the Deloitte Chair in Financial Management and Corporate Valuation.

    Since October 2016, she has been appointed Academic Director of Research (Vice-Dean) at HEC Liège. Marie has a joint Ph.D. in Finance from the Universities of Liège and Luxembourg (2010) on "Hedge Funds and Higher-Order Comoment Equity Risk Premiums". She leads the track "Banking and Asset Management" in the Master in Management where she teaches courses on Corporate Finance and Financial Risk Modeling.

    Marie is also Affiliate Professor at Paris Dauphine, EDHEC Business School (Nice) and a Research Associate at the EDHEC Risk Institute. Marie has been the academic mentor of the team of students representing HEC at the CFA Research Challenge (international competition organized by the CFA Institute) since 2013. In 2014-2015 and in 2018-2019, HEC ranked first at the BENELUX competition.

    She collaborates regularly with the industry and has developed closed research relationships with BNP Paribas Fortis on corporate finance-related topics. Her current research interests include asset pricing models, market anomalies and investment styles (value, growth investing), hedge funds and valuation issues in corporate finance (e.g. real options). Marie has published articles on asset pricing and hedge funds in Journal of Empirical Finance, Bankers, Markets and Investors, Journal of Derivatives and Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, Journal of Portfolio Management, Finance (Revue of the French Finance Association) and European Financial Management. Her research has been presented to leading academic conferences as well as to research seminars at leading academic institutions.

    Markus Fredebeul-Krein is a Professor at Aachen University of Applied Sciences. He holds a Diploma degree and a PhD in economics from the University of Cologne and a Master's degree from the University of Warwick. His research interests are economics of competition policy and the regulation of telecommunication markets. Today, he’s a guest professor leadership development and self-management (in three executive postgraduate programs – UHasselt ) and philosophy of science (biomedical sciences). His main interests focus on the development of mind and its impact on the quality of collaboration, and vice versa.

    Thierry Chantraine

    Thierry Chantraine graduated as Civil Engineer (Aero) from the University of Liege in 1985 (consolidated through a Superior Cycle of Management from ICHEC -Brussels in 1998), before starting a career mostly dedicated to the aerospace industry.

    Thus, in 1992, Thierry Chantraine joined Techspace Aero (a subsidiary of Safran Group), where he was in charge of various positions in the Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering areas. In 2002, he became Director of the Overhaul, Maintenance and Repair activity at Techspace Aero until 2008 when Pratt & Whitney (UTC) acquired this MRO division, focused on military engines. At this point, Thierry Chantraine became General Manager of the newly created Belgian subsidiary of the renowned US Engine manufacturer (Pratt & Whitney Belgium engine Center).

    On July 2011, Thierry Chantraine was nominated by the University of Liège Academic Council as CSL General Manager and and lead this renowned Applied Research Center until December 2015.

    Founder and co-owner of PATH SPRL, he is now a consultant in senior management, project management and human resources organization. He is also a regular lecturer at HEC Liège.

    Wilfried Niessen, Prof., HEC Liège



    Wilfried Niessen has been active in lecturing and business management for twenty years. He set up four companies in the fields of information technology for management (ERP), advising and accountancy-taxation. He is a chartered accountant and tax specialist. For many years, he has combined solid practical experience and lecturing through various publications (Comprenez votre comptable, Versta uw boekhouder, Tableau de Bord et business plan, etc.) and high-level training in public companies and institutions (FORTIS, Belgacom, La Poste, …). He is fluent and lectures in French, Dutch, German and English. His areas of expertise are accountancy, business simulations, finance for non-financial managers, IT for management and the setting up of businesses. He is a consultant and trainer for businesses.
    The last 10 years, his professional focus has been the Business School. He teached at ESCA, Shenzhen University, Fachhochschule Würzburg.  He is member of the Advisory Board of Hohenheim University.
    Since 2011, he is member of the Board of Director of HEC Liège, first as Academic Director for Strategic Development, then Interim Dean, Director of EXED, First Vice-Dean and now Dean and Director General since 2017.

    Marco Motullo studied business administration at the University of Muenster (Germany) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA).

    After graduating in 2006, Marco worked as a research assistant at the University of Muenster, focusing on strategic marketing, business-to-business marketing, and data analytics/market research.

    In his PhD thesis he explored the possibility of projecting user behavior in online social networks. In 2011, Marco joined Henkel AG & Co. KGaA as a project manager and Executive Assistant to a Corporate Senior Vice President who headed a strategic business unit with EUR 2 bn. annual revenue.

    In 2013, Marco joined Berlin-based startup company CPI Celebrity Performance GmbH as Managing Director and Partner.

    In September 2016, Marco was appointed professor at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences teaching digital marketing, customer insights & marketing performance, and other business and marketing related topics.

    In addition, as co-founder and Managing Partner of fourmula GmbH he designs corporate trainings and helps companies to leverage the power of data in marketing. He further advises startups on strategy, innovation, and marketing topics.
